Life is so laid back here the most pressing problem you’ll face is whether to spend the day in the pool or at the beach.

This 1,800 square foot house sleeps six, with one king bed, one queen and two twins, and it comes with two bathrooms.

The Marriott public beach access point is just a short walk from the house. But the heated pool’s right out on the lanai, and western exposure means it gets all-day sun. The house comes with plenty of fun pool toys. But it also has everything you need for the beach, like a beach chair, beach umbrella and a cooler.

Paradise Coast is famous for its warm sands, turquoise waters, majestic sunsets and an endless array of watersports, like parasailing, kayaking, jet skiing and so much more. But the pool is the perfect temperature and the kids just started a game of Marco Polo.

Pool or beach? It’s never an easy choice.

The lanai also comes with a gas grill for delicious poolside barbeques. Which leads to the vacation’s second most pressing question: what do you want on your burger?

Life is just as relaxing inside, with furniture as comfortable as it is stylish. The living room is tastefully decorated to create an easygoing coastal feel. Windows beneath vaulted ceilings fill the space with natural light. Tropical indoor plants enhance the feeling of tranquility.

The bright summer kitchen comes with all the modern appliances and cookware you need to serve a family dinner on the dining room table beside a window overlooking the lush garden outside. You can also eat on the glass kitchen table with a view of the lanai.

The house comes with bikes and plenty of comfort-enhancing amenities, like air conditioning, ceiling fans and a washer and dryer. It also gives you cable, TVs in the bedrooms, a big screen TV in the living and Wi-Fi, which you can use to post the next day’s big dilemma: pool or beach? Beach or pool?

The beach isn’t the only great activity a short walk from the house. You can also walk to Marco Golf and Garden, a miniature golf course in the midst of an award-winning garden, and to Marco Walk Plaza, a premier open-air shopper’s paradise filled with boutiques and plenty of fine dining options.

    A wonderful location in a perfect vacation destination. The house is very clean and comfortable and located within easy walking distance to a public beach access and easy biking to shops and restaurants. The pool is a nice size and in great shape. The house was well-stocked and all items were in good shape and working order.

    Our stay was wonderful and was exactly what we needed for our week long stay. Great location for walks to the beach. Close to a number of great places to eat. FYI: We did see ghost ants in the bathrooms but the exterminator actually came for a regular visit while we were there. One night after dark we had a knock on the front door. It was just someone delivering chairs for the pool area but we were not able to turn a light on outside the front door. Felt a little scary for a minute. Just wanted to mention that the light is burned out for safety reasons. Thanks for a great week!!

    We had a great time in 148 Landmark Street, Marco Island. The house is very nice and in good condition. With the 3 bedrooms there is enough space for 6 people but I would not recommend renting it with a party of 7-8. We visited the house with 3 adults and had a lot of space.

    We really loved the pool area and spent the most time there. There is a lot of pool and beach equipment in the house, including two bikes and a Weber Q100 barbecue grill. The patio provides shadow all day and the pool get sunshine from 10am to sunset.

    It was 850 meter (0.53 miles, 930 yard or 2790 foot) to the public beach of Marco Island. But make sure you go via Maple Ave. If you go via San Marco Road there is no beach entry and the way is much longer.

    The property management is very friendly and competent. We had a water pipe burst outside of the house and they send us a plumber immediately who fixed it while we were for breakfast.

    Location is excellent. All was very clean and well kept. Not very well equipped in kitchen and with few beach towels. Could use a chair in living area and could have better pool side furniture. Overall for the amount of money paid we were disappointed that it did not have more to offer.

    I recently stayed at 148 Landmark. The house was really nice, clean, and a great size. The pool was nice and we were able to grill all week. The house was walking distance to the beach and the property had a cart to lug everything. Andrew from the management company was also really great to work with!

    We had a wonderful stay at 148 Landmark Street. We are two families with one ten month old baby each. we found it perfect to have our own bedroom(s) and separate bathroom at opposite ends of the house with the common areas in the middle. The beds were comfortable and it felt luxurious to have our own pool. The only little downside was that the kitchen was a little underequipped. For example we missed wine glasses, dish rack, grater etc. But we bought the stuff so the kitchen should be better equipped now. The other downside with the house was that we had to leave it at the end of our stay!
    I would say that the pictures don´t make the house justice. The house feels both bigger and lighter in reality.

    We came with our in-laws and our 14 months old daughter to this newly decorated house and we loved it. It's a safe and quite neighborhood. The house has a great layout so that our master bedroom was far away from the two bedrooms which guaranteed us a good sleep in a really comfortable king bed. The beach toys, chairs & towels were used on a daily basis coz the walk to the beach is very short. Too bad that we only stayed one week. We would love to come again.
