Discover the secluded paradise of the South Seas. This 1,100 square foot, 4th floor condo sleeps four, with one king bed, two twins, and two bathrooms.

It’s a front unit, with a wraparound balcony. “Beachfront” doesn’t do the view justice. Sitting on the balcony table, you’re only a few feet away from clusters of palm trees, with miles of warm sands and turquoise water spreading out in front of you. Green lagoons encircled by mangroves sit between the ocean and a strip of sand that leads to the shell hunter’s paradise of Sand Dollar Island.

No, this unit doesn’t come with your own private sunset, but it sure seems that way as you sit so close to the beach, serenaded by breaking waves, watching the setting sun paint the sky brilliant orange.

The other side of the balcony looks out over the South Sea’s green oasis of tranquility, with a heated pool and a deck filled with sun loungers and tables shaded by tiki umbrellas. Paths wind through manicured gardens, alongside hedges and hibiscus bushes, taking you to the tennis courts beside Clam Bay. The South Seas offers countless other deluxe amenities, like a fitness center and social room with daily activities.

The calming seaside feel continues inside the unit, with rattan furniture and decorative coastal touches like a lamp filled with shells. Sliding glass doors fill the rooms with natural light and surround you with a backdrop of palm trees, ocean and sky.

The gourmet kitchen comes fully stocked with all the modern appliances and cookware you need to serve dinner on the glass dining room table overlooking white sands dotted with palm trees.

The bedrooms give you ample closet and drawer space, ultra-comfortable mattresses and linens. Sliding glass doors open up to the balcony. There’s no more peaceful sleep than the one you get with salty ocean trade winds blowing over you and a lullaby of soft waves breaking on the shore.

    Beautiful condo. Great view of beach. I thought
    walk to ocean too far for an older person. I love
    the ocean, but too far for me to walk. Luckily
    had friends staying near Marriott and went to the beach down there. Had family with me to help me.

    We love the Unit and most everthing works well,but there are a few things you should know,The toilet are not ADA height, the air conditioner fan is very loud and make a pulse sound, the balcony tables has been broken for years, look at the picture and you can see the broken piece next to the rail, the balcony chairs need cleaning, the sofa couchions are shot and the fabic need replacing. We bought TV table for the unit and left them there, for next year. the bathroom vanity is upgarade and facets too. the kitchen is fine and there are enough dishes, cup and glasses. The overall appearance is good and the wrap around balcony gives you lovely views. The master bed is very nice but the covers are too heavy. The sheet need to be updated too. I am requestihng that these issues be addressed by the owner so we will see what they do to make it worht the dollars they charge.

    We have been to Marco Island several times over the years and had always stayed in a local hotel. We decided to try a condo rental this year. The experience was easy and convenient and dealing with the rental agent was simple. The unit was clean, with a good location near our favorite restaurants. The one drawback was the length of the walk to the Gulf, manageable, but a bit of a hike to the water. We did have a great view of the Gulf and great sunsets nearly every evening. Pool was always clean. We were a bit disappointed with the early check-out time, 10am, and with a later flight that day, we had a more time than we would have wished to wait around. With all the folks who walk to the beach everyday, any thought to providing a shuttle/golf cart service to move people back and forth with all their beach gear and many with small children or seniors who find the walk cumbersome.
