South Seas Tower 4-704

I love staying in the South Seas Towers, we’ve been staying in either tower 3 or 4 for our past 8 vacations. People that stay there are very friendly. Although the washer and dryers are outside the condo, it’s still convenient to use them. We loved the view and used the tables on the balcony to play games in the evening. The condo had been recently redone, and the bathrooms were great. Would stay again.

Wonderful Experience!

Unit was dirty, floors sticky,furniture worn dirty and very bad musty odour.bed was old and very uncomfortable and mattress cover under sheets dirty, we purchased our own pillows and sheets, beach umbrellas were broken no small cooler or beach cart in unit. I have been vacationing for years at this condo and by far the worst unit I've seen in the past 20 years.

This was our first time on Marco Island. The location of this rental was great, close to restaurants and grocery. If you have small children, it’s a bit of a walk to beach. The pool was nice. The condo has everything you need. The only improvement would be the living room furniture. It’s worn out and uncomfortable.

This two bed, two bath condo rental on Marco Island had a great location with fantastic view. The beds and furniture were comfortable. There was ample kitchen ware. Check-in and check-out were easy. The neighboring condo building and this one share a beautiful pool, which gets very crowded mid day. As others before me have written, it is a 12 to 13 minute trek to the ocean which limited our times being in the ocean and on the beach.

Easy check in process, great location, the condo had everything we needed. If you are looking to rent and have small kids/young teens I would strongly suggest not to rent here. The association has very strict rules and they carry over to the pool as well. No jumping, pool closes at dusk, and the pool attendant Tracey is a force to be reckon with. All week we witnessed her kick families out of the pool for minor infractions of the rules with no warnings. The way she speaks to kids/teens is very disrespectful. As a parent, if she would have spoken to my children in the many ways she did to others, we would have been in the office immediately. She thrives on kicking families out and then will fine them. She would talk with owners about the number of tourist staying there and complained about how hard it has made her job. Aside from the pool, everything else was amazing!!! The property is well kept, our condo was great, and for the price it made it even better! The one thing is it is more of a walk to get to the beach then it appears on the map. That was just our fault for not realizing. It’s .2 of a mile one way which isn’t bad but carrying all your stuff by the end of the week you travel light to the beach! We would most definitely rent again! Fingers crossed Tracey finds a new position other than pool attendant.

We were disappointed to find out that the pool was closed for the first four days, then extremely crowded where you couldn't find a chair. The walk to the beach was very long. The property was clean, but dated and had a very musty smell when you walk in. Overall I would not stay at this property again.

This will be our second year staying at the South Seas Towers and we will return again. This unit was perfect for us had all the amenities. The location is near all the wonderful restaurants and shopping. The community is has a guard gate for security as well. The pool is heated and never seemed to be busy. The beach is always available as well, swimming, fishing and shelling or just relaxing.
Again, wonderful experience!

We had a great time in Marco Island! Only complaint was that the toilet in the master was slow to fill with water and we could only use it every few hours or it wouldn't flush.

Whole process from beginning to end was easy.
Unit is really nice but the walk to beach is long, and
Pool lady is very strict to kids having fun.

Excelent view , beautiful beach , Pool was very clean , apartment has all you need to cook , and to spend a quality time , the only problem was that you are not allowed to play music or in my case play dominoes, because they will call attention on you , and the other problem was that the towers were under repair and construction and they make a very laugh noise all mornings . I was not advised of that before making my reservation. But it was a great week , and to be on quarantine I did like that peaceful place. Beach is another thing, super clean , warm water, very white sand . We did enjoy our 8 nights there .

We are satisfied with the rental. Location is perfect and everything was fine. The only negative thing is that the condo was not very clean when we got there. I had to clean all the tables, furniture (hair on the table on the balcony and bathroom floor).

My wife and adult son had a great stay in this unit! The views are incredible just like the photos show. Beach is pure white with plenty of shelling to be done. Overall, a great place to vacation and unwind!

Our room and facilities were exactly as described on Airbnb. The pictures were accurate. Our condo was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly during check-in.

Building 4, Unit 704 was a very nice unit that was well equipped. Bathrooms had recently been redone. Marco Island Vacation Property staff were easy to deal with. Check in and out was seamless. The unit has very nice views from the lanai. This unit is located in the “bend” in the building so it is a unit which has the smallest lanai. We were there in April and the sun only came to the edge of the lanai. Things I would recommend to the owner would be room darkening curtains in the twin bed room as the light on the walkway never goes out and the Venetian blinds do not block the light; some light bulbs were in need of replacement in the twin bathroom; placemats would be nice; the sliding glass door in the living room was very difficult to open and close. This is basically a good solid unit to rent.

It was an excellent experience from booking to checkout. Beautiful unit with awesome views of the beach and pool. I will be back!

We have been coming to Marco Island for 20 years now and we were well aware of the location of the property, this was why we selected it. Unfortunately we were 5 days without Wifi/TV and I felt this was an unacceptably long time to carry out a simple repair. We were not informed that the washer/dryer facilities on floor 7 were out of commission meaning we we had to go to floors 6 or 8. This was inconvenient to say the least. The level of construction repairs ongoing was rather high but I can appreciate that these buildings suffered a fair amount of hurricane damage. It would have been nice to have been informed about this.

This unit has a number of pluses. Great view, spacious and overall well-appointed unit with a nice pool. It is quiet and you will get your exercise walking to the beach but it is worth it. Quiet, and remote feeling, but good restaurants close by. However, essential items are in need of replacement. In 15+ VRBO stays, the master bed is the worst I have ever slept in. Excruciatingly uncomfortable thin hard mattress. The linens also need replacement. Old, used up. The pillows are either rock hard or worn out. Minimal paper products and soap. No spices in unit. The central air conditioner unit is in the middle of the unit, making it very noisy during the day and too loud to keep on at night. The beach chairs, although nicely supplied, also need replacing with something you can sit in....very cheap and uncomfortable. All are easy fixes other than the AC unit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but this unit could use some TLC.

Great place, comfy condo, easy check in/out, excellent beach.

Very easy to arrange and pick up/drop off keys, clear instructions and lots of tips provided. When we turned up the A/C wasn't working this was sorted within the hour, so very quick. (we popped out & was resolved as we arrived back). The apartment had all the amenities you could need. View on the balcony is accurate, be prepared for a little walk to get to the sea (as you can see in picture).

rented condo in tower 3. because of problems in tower 3 condo, had to move to tower 4. excellent support from Marco vacation office, was relocated within 12 hours in nice condo.

Very beautiful, clean, and secure. The beach was a 7 minute walk, but very private because of this. Our condo had all the things we needed. It was very spacious and new. It had a cart and all the beach stuff we needed.

Location on 7th floor was good -not too far from laundry/elevators. Unit was nicely furnished & clean - furnishings were comfortable. Bathrooms have been updated & were very modern/convenient. We did not eat in much, however the unit had a microwave, toaster, blender & coffeemaker that we used while we were there - those appliances worked fine. View from balcony was of pool and beach - very beautiful. We were always able to get a chair at the pool, although we came at a crowded time of year. Pool was clean and water is heated so always comfortable for swimming. Beach is large, beautiful and very clean. Upon initial entry to this unit it had a strong musty odor throughout all rooms. Despite opening all windows and turning on ceiling fans, the smell did not improve. We made several trips to Winn Dixie/Walgeens to purchase Glade plug-in's and a wax tart warmer, and left the windows open the entire week and the musty smell improved somewhat by mid-week. This unit is accessed from the outside of the building, along an exterior walkway. We have stayed at South Seas in the past & prefer a unit w/access from an indoor hallway. We checked in after 5pm on a Saturday, and only 2 sets of keys were left - no written instructions or laundry card was left in the package from the management company or within the unit itself. We had to purchase our own laundry card to do laundry. The management company does have a web application that you can download and view instructions regarding your specific unit, however the instructions available were very generic and did not give enough detail on unit 704. In the second bathroom there was a shower/tub combination, however we could not get it to function as a bathtub - details regarding this issue included in instructions may have helped. In addition we had difficulty navigating both TV controllers and channels and would have appreciated clearer direction. Also, Wifi within unit was noticeably slow. Overall, ok for a week-long stay.
