Beach Club 206

I booked this condo so I could attend a conference at the nearby JW Marriott hotel. I had to walk 20 minutes, but I saved hundreds of dollars. The condo itself was fine. Everything was in working order except the WiFi, which was very intermittent.

The condo was perfect for us. Easy access to the beach access the street , a pool and easy half mile walk to restaurants and bars. Never really needed the car. Plus being down the road was nice without lots of traffic and people. Condo was nice. Clean and provided basics great.

We came to Marco for the first time in May 2023.

THE GOOD:
Nice, quiet south-end Marco location. Nice outdoor amenities, newly painted exterior and clean, well-lit parking close to building. Clean, newly coated swimming pool (25’ from main road!) with clean, clear water. Nice screened in lanai.

THE BAD:
Towels threadbare and permanently stained WAAAY past their life. Dirty carpet in bedroom, also perhaps past it’s life. Hard floors were well-swept but sticky and a bit dirty, disguised by pattern in tile. So much dried yellow urine around toilet base at floor.

THE UGLY: We would not have rented this unit if we knew there was a sign by thermostat saying you could not put A/C on below 70 degrees or coils would freeze up and fail. It was actually 72 degrees or lower. A/C would then only get humidity down to 67% at best so we were warm and sweaty trying to sleep. No ceiling fans. Worst of all, there was so much mold stink in vents and ductwork that the place smelled bad and gave us both wheezing/coughing/headaches. All instantly cured the day after we left.

Excellent Resort but condo furnishings (pillows, chair cushions) only adequate.

So many positives ... great location, weather, pool, pickle ball courts, rental unit, hosts who made sure all was well. Only negative was we had to leave at the end of our time there.

A friend and I stayed in one of the Beach Club apartments for what was supposed to be 3 nights. Due to the oncoming hurricane Nicole, we cut our visit short by one night.The location and property are excellent but the problems are with management company. Not knowing we had to check-in by 5:00pm sharp, we almost missed our check-in (they hand you the keys). I assume there would have been other arrangements made but we were made to feel like we were a bother when we arrived. But the biggest problem is with their payment policy. You must pay everything upfront when you reserve ($1150 in this case) and there are no refunds, regardless of the amount of notice you give or the reasons. To be fair, they do state this in their terms and conditions. But, as a result, our two-night stay was $1150. This is a nice property but not worth $575/night. Additionally, for that price, there are no services. You have to remove your garbage, strip the beds and they asked you to do the laundry. I do not recommend this property just based on their policies.

Overall, we had a great stay. The unit was stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. A 5 min walk to the beach. We had a problem with the unit when we arrived Saturday evening after hours and Management was quick to respond. The balcony had a great view of the pool and lush surroundings. I would stay here again.

Great location directly across from the beach on the south end of the island where things are more quiet & walkable to shopping and restaurants. The unit was very clean and fully stocked with everything you could ever need including beach gears - towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a wagon to tow the stuff to the beach. The view of the pool from the screened patio was very relaxing. On the negative side, the bathroom cabinet and toilet needs to be updated. Other than that, the we enjoyed our stay!

Appreciate the folks at Marco Island Vacation Properties - enjoyed working with them. 206 needs some work. Missing light fixture in hallway. Bathroom vanity falling apart - rusted out. Appears to have been water damage in bathroom - toilet off center / towel rack crooked. Difficult to turn shower handle. Sink when you sit on couch! Kitchen also in need of updating. Bottom wood work also appears to have water damage. Toaster did not work. Beach furniture uncomfortable. Sliding door to lanai difficult to open. Property was clean. Nice view of pool. Bed comfortable.

The condo had lights that the bulbs did not work. The sliding door did difficult to move open and closed. The biggest drawback is that there is not a washer and dryer in the unit . And the condos public dryers took at best a couple rounds to get even light clothes dry. The location is good. And the bed and sheets are comfortable .

It was fine. The room was tired. Needed deep cleaning and paint. Lights were burn out. vacuum and floor cleaner were dirty and needed replaced as they did. Ice machine did not work and water leaked under the refrigerator(they fixed). No wash cloths (which they later provided). No dish towels to clean dishes.

Location was very good. Condo was more dated than pictured. Ice maker in the freezer did not work so we had to buy bagged ice for our stay. Kitchen pantry was very very small. Although it was clean and quiet, I would look for something different next time. For the money I was a little disappointed.

My wife and I traveled to Marco Island to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The condo was very clean! The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook at home. The condo associate provided a grill in the pool area that we used a few times. There were lots of beach toys, chairs, an umbrella, and a wagon to take things to the beach. We loved being so close to the beach and while you could not see the beach/ocean from the condo, the beach was an easy 5-7 minute walk from our condo.


The check in and check out process was simple and easy, although, we were sent a blanket email for our condo at checkout that didn't apply to our specific condo and that caused a little confusion.

The managing property does an excellent job communicating check in, check out and even providing an app with things to do in the area.

The only thing wrong with the condo was that the ice maker did not work but I am told that maintenance was to fix it.

My wife and I would definitely stay at this condo again and plan to return to Marco Island with our family next year. We would gladly recommend Marco Island Vacation properties to help us find the right property for our next visit.

We stayed 4 nites and this property could not have suited us better...
Location perfect!.. we walked to the beach and had access to beach chairs, cooler and umbrellas right from the rental. Our views from the patio nice and access to the pool and grilling area great!

Overall the property was ok. The shower was not clean. The pots and pans need to be replace they are not safe to use with the inside all scratched. Everything else was fine. The pool and the building is well kept.
