Great set up for our family. Master bed on one side of the house with its own bathroom and door to the pool. The 3 bedrooms on the other side worked well for our 4 kids. Definetly needs updating decor wise, lots of dark furniture and fake plants. And the cleaning service did not do a good job as we found items from previous people under beds and in couches. The pool was very nice. The house came with pool toys, a nice sized cooler, boogie boards etc. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. There storage room for unrefrigerated food as all the cabinets are full and the pantry is locked, so we had stuff stacked everywhere. There were a few minor issues, but the property manager was very responsive and quick to send maintenance out to resolve the issues. The one thing that was a big annoyance is that I had read on prior reviews about the heavy smell of mothballs. I emailed with the property manager prior to our arrival because we do have a child who is super sensitive to smells and has adverse reactions. I was told that they had remedied the issue, but when we arrived the mothball smell was very noticeable. We opened all the doors and turned on all the ceiling fans while we were unloading our car and that helped a lot, but we couldn’t completely get rid of the smell. It was worst in the guest room with the queen bed, and upon searching, we found a tub of what appeared to be sheets under the bed that smelled very badly. We took the tub outside and left it on the covered part of the lanai for the remainder of the trip and that solved the issue. Nice location but the “quick walk” to Tigertail Beach is a 10 minute walk to the lagoon beach, but then another 10-15 minutes walk around the lagoon to get to the “real” beach. Way too far with little kids and all the gear. We only did that once. Avoid the recommended restaurants, they were all so busy they wouldn’t even take take our orders. Sami’s and La Mesa were AMAZING

Other than the noseeums it was outstanding. Called management about pool temperature and it was fixed within an hour. Small things like a burned out light in shower certainly did not take away from a great week!

Very spacious home, mostly well equipped.

Suggestions for improvements:) Please remove mothball storage boxes from under beds....very bad odour in bedrooms and dangerous for kids!
Please buy some new knives as all current ones are VERY DULL.
Also, a broom and new floor mop would be useful to keeping floors clean for renters.
All in all tho very practical home. Also the booking agency is super responsive and takes good care of you!

This is a great location, close to restaurants, shopping, and Tiger Beach. The pool area is very nice with plenty of sun on the pool and shady areas for lunch or lounging. Four bedrooms provide lots of room for family and/or friends.

We were delighted with this home. Clean, great location and the pool was fabulous. The property managers were great to work with and very customer focused. We would rent with them again.
We would NOT, however, go thru AirBnb again. We originally rented the house with the understanding from the website that we could cancel up to November 29. I did not review the contract AFTER we had rented the home to discover that we only had 14 days to cancel for a full refund! We had family coming from Brazil who could not get U.S. Visas until March, so attempted to cancel before 11/29. Imagine my surprise to find that our refund would have been $112 instead of $2,207 minus fees!
We will NEVER rent thru AirBNB again but would rent from Marco Island Vacation Properties any time!

Everything about this home was exceptional. The location is perfect, the home is in great condition.

My family of 6 adults truly enjoyed staying at 689 Kendall Drive, a fantastic neighborhood. The house is spacious with a wonderful pool. We stayed over the 4th of July and were able to walk to the beautiful beach to see the fireworks. We did a shelling boat tour and an Airboat tour. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Marco Island. We greatly appreciate Marco Island Vacation Rentals for being so professional and helpful. We would definitely return for a family vacation!

We came down from buffalo, n.y with 2 adults and 2 children. We were looking for a quiet place for a little break from buffalo life and boy is that what we got!
The house was perfect! The pool was amazing, the littles loved waking up in the morning to jump right in. We are very much looking forward to planning our next vacation in that very same spot.

It was wonderful at all. The pace is nice and quiet, the people excellent. We really enjoyed our vacations in Marco Island.

Super simple and easy, from the paper work to picking up the keys and dropping them off. Will definitely recommend to friends and rent from them again!

Stayed for two weeks in March 2021. Close to beach, plenty of space with pool, lanai, interior space and in a residential area all contributed to a good stay for a family of four (all adults). Bikes (two) were in good shape (rented two others) and all the beach needs (chairs, parasol, etc) were in the house so made it easy for us. Starter supplies in the house only lasted one day or so so you need to get out to get everything from soap, shampoo, TP, washing items, etc as soon as you get there.

Renting with Andrew thru marco island vacations was the best experience. Super easy and the web site is wonderful to use. The location was perfect!

Our family of 6 traveled down from St. Louis to spend a week on Marco Island. Property was clean and comfortable, pictures are true to life. Pool was wonderful for our 4 kids. When we contacted the manager of the property we received great attention and follow through-very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed para-sailing, deep sea fishing, and a catamaran sail all within 15 minutes of the house. Restaurants we enjoyed were Pinchers, Joey's Pizza and Sunset Grille. Only surprise was that the closest beach, just a 12 minute walk from the house, isn't a typical beach. You have to wade across a lake with water chest deep to get your things to the beach. We didn't enjoy this part but made it work on several occassions. Ended up driving 10 minutes on the island and parking and walking to another beach that didn't require wading in dark, murky waters. Overall stay was great-we love to vacation on Marco Island and would definitely use this company to rent again!

We stayed in the house during the first week of June 2019. It was very well equipped, situated in close proximity to the beach, and only a few minutes in either direction to great restaurants and shops. Having been used to high traffic volume in the Hilton Head area where we have typically vacationed, the quietness of Marco Island was a pleasant change. We were amazed to learn that the owner proactively contacted an HVAC company when he/she noticed that the temperature did not match our set value - without us even notifying them. Excellent customer service! We hope to return very soon!

This was an enjoyable house - spacious with four bedrooms. Located in a great part of Marco Island with a quick walk to Tigertail beach. The kitchen had more than enough cookware and dishes. Laundry room was nice. There was an oversized TV in Living Room overlooking a beautiful pool with easy access through large sliders. A couple of rafts and plenty of beach towels. Home was very quiet and clean with comfortable beds. It was nice to park in the garage with a remote control. The only con is the decorating is not as up-to-date as other rental properties - lots of artificial plants and heavy window treatments blocking out the light made it feel dark inside all day. There are two bikes (assume kids bikes) and locks but we didn't know the lock combination. The bikes were not easy to ride. Adult bikes would be a great addition! Overall a nice visit.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was spotless, in a nice neighborhood, and walking distance to Tigertail Beach. This was a gift trip for my in-laws, and they felt quite pampered. We will come back to this property when we return to Marco Island. Thank you for the perfect spot!

We rented the home for family members who were coming into town for a family event. The hone is somewhat dated but clean and well equipped. The rental company was very responsive to the 2 small issues we had. Overall, it suited our needs and all the guests were comfortable.

Location very good for tigertail beach access. Overall the house was well maintained. Some things were a little outdated i.e. new blinds are needed in the master bedroom, one lounge chair outside was broken. It would have been nice if the pool was heated as it was a little cool to swim in. The previous renter left parental controls on the television that required their ID code to disable, the rental company and owner were helpful in resolving the issue. The email reminders regarding trash takeout and check-in/out details were helpful. We had a very relaxing week, enjoyed the beautiful weather and lovely beach, as well as local restaurants.

This property was perfect for our needs. The layout allows guests to be on one side of the house with the master suite on the other. All appliances were top-notch, and the flat screen TV in the living room was enjoyed by all. Unfortunately, we were unable to get the bedroom TV's working, and operating instructions were not helpful. The BBQ was high-end, and very clean - used it almost every night. The pool and lanai were beautiful, and the pool service flawless. The 20 minute walk to Tigertail Beach is a key positive feature of this house. We initially had a problem with the ice-maker in the fridge, but this was promptly solved by an appliance repair team dispatched by the property management company. In fact, Marco Island Vacation Properties was extremely helpful and responsive to all our inquiries. Sunsets on Tigertail or South Beach, Blackened Grouper sandwiches at The Speak Easy, or lunch by the water on the Isle of Capri all add up to a truly outstanding experience on Marco Island.

The house was very clean and it had everything we needed.The pool is big.We had an amazing stay.We'll definitely rent it again.

The house was beautiful and very spacious. It was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Loved the pool!!! Loved the island!

We took our adult children (6 adults), plus our 16 month old grandson, to this property for a week the beginning of May. On arrival we were pleasantly
surprised that it looked as nice as it sounded. Kitchen
is actually larger than it appeared in pics and very well
stocked. Lots of room in living room and dining areas. Covered lanai and good sized pool was a popular place
to hang out. There were lots of towels, including beach
towels.
Couple of issues for owner/property mgmt:
- in a house that sleeps 8 people there were only 2 loungers at the pool; couple more would be nice. There was only 1 small umbrella and a couple small chairs for the beach. The dark couch (sofabed) in the livingroom is extremely uncomfortable. Ice-maker in frig didn't work.
However these are fairly small issues. We called the property mgmt company our 2nd last day to say the pocket door in the bathroom was broken and they were going to come and fix it.
House is in a beautiful neighbourhood. We walked to Tigertail Beach but it isn't great for swimming.
We would definitely recommend this house and would probably use it again if we decide to go back to Marco Island.
Be sure to go to CJ's on the Bay; Snook Inn; NeNe's.

Amazing property. Walking distance to Tigertail Beach, about 4-5 blocks. Home was very comfortable, spacious kitchen fully equiped. Will definitely rent this property again. Andrew and evetyone @ Marco Island vacation properties were very nice and professional.

House was very clean, tidy, organized and beautiful! Only issue with the vacation was the difficult public beach access.

The house and lay out met our family needs. My only complaint would be the sleeping pilllows and quality of mattress in master bedroom. The pillows throughout are thin and noisy. The master bed mattress is very worn out.

Had a great 2 months. The internet does not do this property justice. If you liked the pictures you will love the real thing. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Convenient to the beach and the island. Just loved it! Coming back next year for sure.

PERFECT...Really nothing else needs to be said! We have 3 teenage daughters and they loved the home and location, as well. Plenty of activities to keep them occupied.
