Get to the beach without getting in your car. South Beach is right across the street from this 3rd floor, 1,200 square foot Grandview condo. It sleeps six, with one queen bed, two twins, a sleeper sofa, and two bathrooms.
The spacious balcony overlooking the South Beach skyline makes the perfect place to gather and plan out the day. Should you cross the street to the beach, or do you feel more like taking the short walk to the unrivalled shopping of Marco Walk Plaza? Maybe one of you will vote for taking the short walk to Marco Golf and Garden, a miniature golf course in the midst of an award-winning garden. Someone else might suggest taking a short walk to the movie theater or a short walk to the ice cream parlor. Note the one thing all these fun activities have in common: a short walk. No driving required. You couldn’t ask for a better location.
Sunlight streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows lights up the interior for the best in coastal style living. The living room seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living, with spacious couches beckoning you to unwind and take in the breathtaking scenery. A large television provides entertainment, but the true star of the show is the panoramic view of the tropical garden, accessible through the sliding glass doors that lead to the balcony.
The airy, summer kitchen, with its granite countertops, is fully stocked with all the modern appliances and cookware you need to prepare everything from a family dinner to tropical beverages to sip out on the balcony as you debate what great restaurant you should walk to.
Once you’re ready to drift away to dreamland, both bedrooms are decorated with all the colors and comforts of the tropics, as well as feature ample closet and drawer space and a television. The master bedroom, in particular, features direct balcony access and an en suite bathroom with makeup vanity and a glass-enclosed shower.
The unit comes with amenities like air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, free wi-fi, cable, linens, towels, and a washer and dryer. It also comes with everything you need for the beach, including beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, and beach cart to carry them in to the white sands and limitless activities of South Beach.
The clear, shallow water makes for optimum snorkeling. You can also enjoy catamaran sailing, kayaking, jet skiing, exploring warm tide pools filled with seashells, or just sitting back on the white powdery sand listening to the waves. Afterwards, be sure to make your way to the beachside Sunset Grill for a front row seat to the spectacular sunset.
Naturally, staying at the Grandview also means you have full use of the tennis court, pickle ball, shuffleboard, and patio, with its heated pool, hot tub, gas grills, and picnic tables where you can enjoy a poolside barbeque.
So, come to this Grandview condo and put the car keys in the drawer because you’re a short walk to just about everywhere you want to go.

The property accommodated our party of four. The 'shared' bed was a double, not a queen. The TV was not a smart tv, so viewing was limited. We were unable to access the balcony from the living room, as the slider was broken. We needed to access through the bedroom, which was problematic if someone was in the bedroom and the vertical blind slats kept falling out. The property was clean and the customer service was exceptional. The walk to the beach was a good 10 minutes on sidewalks, with chairs and beach gear plan accordingly. The week we were there, parking near beach access was full with a line to get in. Restaurants had long waits, again, we were told because of week we there.

Always enjoy our stay in Grandview. Also appreciate Marco Island Vacation Rentals for their assistance. One maintenance request was taken care of quickly. This condo is walkable to the beach and has a nice pool area. Elevator to upper floors. Condo could use done updating but it is clean and has a newer washer/dryer. However, with the rent doubling fir next year, we are forced to look elsewhere.

Walked to the beach every morning, back to the unit for lunch, and then back to the beach. There are plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and even a few sand toys. Also walked a couple blocks to three good restaurants. Living room and bedrooms were nice. Kitchen and bathrooms are functional but need to be updated. Stayed in another newer building in the area 2 years ago where bathrooms and kitchen had been renovated.

We tagged along with a relative who owns a time share at the Marriot. Only a block away, we walked there every day. The rental was very clean (unlike a different relative who said their dishes were dirty and the property did not have the amenities advertised) OURS was both CLEAN and WELL SUPPLIED with beach chairs, floats, cooler, kick board, beach carrier/table, even a sun hat! The kitchen was well supplied . . . many dishes/silverware, ice, (even a smoothie/milkshake maker)! Lots of storage space, patio, elevator. It was the PERFECT place for a perfect vacation.

On the Plus Side:
1) Great location, within walking distance of quite a few shops, restaurants, and the beach.
2) Very clean and nicely decorated.
3) Nice pool and hot tub area.
4) Screened-in balcony is very nice for sitting out on, although noisy.
5) Relatively quiet, low-traffic end of island, with easy access via back roads to the rest.
6) Nice working appliances and bathrooms. Just wish we would have known it had a Keurig (should add as amenity).
7) Wi-Fi was quick enough for NetFlix. Also, your brother did a great job getting it working again.
Just one minus, the unit can be noisy. Street on one side, and elevator on the other. For the guest room, the elevator noise was very bad, with people talking loudly at night.

Room was very nice but dishes were dirty, towels were dirty, silverware was dirty, all bedding for master was thrown in a closet, closets were messy.
Manager's Response
Although the rental unit was not completely cleaned upon the guest's arrival, the rental agreement clearly states that the guest check-in time may be delayed for reasons beyond our control. Nevertheless, the guests received a full refund for the cleaning charge as a courtesy for the inconvenience they experienced.
