Although you have to drive to reach Gordon River Greenway, once you arrive you’ll fall in love with the blacktop trail. For many, the smooth trail is preferred over the rougher terrain offered by many others in the area.
There’s a lot to like about this nearly two mile long trail, including the ability to spot wildlife and the scenic views that pop up every now and again.
4. Shell Island Road
Located in close proximity to Marco Island, Shell Island Road provides everything you could ever want as a cyclist. In addition to a parking lot, the path is surrounded by nature and many types of wildlife.
Furthermore, there’s a kayak launch in close proximity, which provides easy access to the water.
